y taste in music is eclectic. I like rock 'n roll, country, pop, new age, folk, and 1700's or earlier…from all over the world.
I grew up on 1950's pop and 1960's rock. In 1969, I was taking a final exam in an art class. The teacher turned on the radio in the classroom and said, "I want you to hear something extraordinary while you work." It was Milwaukee's first "underground" rock station, WZMF. I was hooked! Hard, hard alternative rock, 24/7. Jefferson Airplane, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Quicksilver, Tangerine Dream and on and on.

That worked for me until the late-1970's when industrial rock took over and Einstuerzende Neubauten was too much, even for me. Then, I lost my music for about 20 years - I can't remember a single song from that period - too busy rushing through life.
In the mid-1990's I entered my "spiritual phase" and began listening to new age, world, and Sikh yoga music. I guess I found my "softer side".
Music is important in my life. It tunes my brain, speaks to my heart, and helps me feel joyful. Here are my favorites.
